First Picture With Santa

We took him to Parkway Plaza to take picture with Santa. We bought this outfit at Babies R US when it's on sale!

Baby Food

I think Ethan started to eat baby food on December 2. He doesn't like rice or barley cereal. We gave him green beans, peas, and squash. He loves to eat baby food. If he doesn't have enough or you feed him too slow, he'll complaint :P

First Cold

On November 29, he had a little bit of fever at night and in the morning of November 30. We took him to the doctor on December 1 and doctor said babies normally get their first cold around 4 or 5 months old and there's no medicine for cold. He said all we can do is to turn on humidifier and put vapor rub on his chests. Poor Ethan was coughing and coughing and lost his voice.

Ah...

On November 23, Ethan discovered his voice. He started to make "ah sound", like screaming sound.

Thanksgiving Day

I don't remember what we did on Thanksgiving Day. We slept over at in laws' place and then in the afternoon we went over to my mom's.

Daddy bought this seat at Babies R US. Ethan loves to sit. It seems like he couldn't realy fit in it cuz of his chubby legs hehe.

Ethan doesn't have much hair on the top cuz of his cradle cap.

Second Well Check Up (4 months)

Ethan loves to talk. His new vocab for today is "Ah-Ya!". Sometimes sounds like he is saying "Ah-gu, god, I don't know, help..." so funny.

Ethan had his 4 months check up on November 15. Nurse said to him, "You are getting bigger. Next time, you'll be carrying mommy." Then he said, "I will!" Isn't he cute!? He had a little bit of fever on Friday. He weighsed 17 lbs and 11 oz. (90-95%), 25 inches tall (50%), 42.5 cm (head, 50%).

Halloween

I picked out 3 costumes from Target (peas in the pod, tiger, and pumpkin) cuz I couldn't decide which one is better. We ended up with the pumpkin outfit.

We took him to trick or treating on Halloween with my friend Tina and her sons Nick and Kyler. They all dressed in pumpkin. I was surprised he didn't fell asleep. He was looking around and we got a bag of candies for him.

He is teething already. You can see two bumps on his lower gum.

Size 2-3 Diaper

Ethan starts to giggle when you play with him...so cute!

On 10/27, he's upgraded to size 2-3 diaper.

First Well Check Up

It supposed to be 2 months check up, but we couldn't get an earlier appointment.

Ethan had his first well check up at Scripps Clinic with Dr. Remba. He weighed 14 lbs and 13 oz (75-90%), 23 3/4 long (50%), and head size is 40 cm (25%). We thought his head was pretty big, but it's under average :P

He got a little fever on Monday and Tuesday. He only cried for few seconds..he's a tough baby. He was smiling as he was leaving the place.

Something funny happened...his eyes went wacko for a minute or two...like crossed eyes....it's like he couldn't control them. After his well check up, we went to visit my work place.

One of his specialties is to have 1 eye open and 1 eye close. About the week of Sept 10 or Sept 17, Ethan started to put his hands in his mouth and rubbing his eyes when he's sleepy.

Size 2 Diaper

Ethan started to wear size 2 diaper on Sept. 11. Ethan smiles more now. He'll smile and make cute sounds when you talk to him (as if he's talking back to you).

About the week of Sept 10 or Sept 17, Ethan started to put his hands in his mouth and rubbing his eyes when he's sleepy.
