New Words

Recently, Ethan says "zuo zuo" = sit down, Bolt (when he wants to watch Bolt). He loves to say no. He doesn't know how to say yes yet. He also likes to say walk (when he wants to go outside), or car (when he wants to go sit and play in the car). He says "choo choo" when he wants to play choo choo.

New Word

Lately, he's been calling his blankie "baby". We think he's trying to say blankie but can't pronounce it.

AFP

I had my monthly check up today. Doctor told me about my AFP test result. She said the risk of down syndrome is very low, 1/5000, 1/7000 something like that. Doctor asked me if I found out baby's sex yet. I told her the first lady wasn't sure but second lady said it's a boy. Doctor asked me if I want to do another ultrasound. I asked if I could. She said sure, just need to find an excuse to go (the excuse is to recheck baby's kidney). She asked me to wait for 4-6 weeks to have the ultrasound.

GTG

We went over to Yumi's house around 11 am. I made egg rolls and fried salt & pepper chicken. Weiping's family and Kaichi's family were there too. Weiping brought porridge, dumplings, and broccoli with shrimps. Kaichi and Jason brought mini corn beef sandwiches. Yumi made fried pork, steam asparagus, sliced tomatoes, rice, and shredded carrots with celery salad.

Before Alice left, she gave Ethan kisses and Ethan kissed her back...how cute! hehe

Daddy's Bday

Happy Birthday Daddy! We didn't do anything special today. I was planning to go to Birch Aquarium because you can get in for free by showing your B of A credit card. However, daddy couldn't find his so we didn't go.

We went to Chopstix Too for lunch. Afterward we headed to the beach. We didn't stay long cuz it was cold. Ethan didn't want to get into the car. We tried to take him to Chuck E Cheese's but it was super pack. So we just walked over to Grossmont Center. We got smoothie at Jumba Juice and then went to Wal-Mart.

New Words

He can say eye, ear, "wa" = walk, and "ca" = cup.

Bed Hogger

Ethan hogs 2/3 of the bed. *shaking head* He's so tiny compared to me but he took up 2/3 of the bed!

Pet Store at Parkway Plaza

Doggy was happy to see Ethan. Ethan was excited at first too but then he was more interested in hamsters.

9 Hours

Ethan woke up about 11 AM. We figured he won't be napping today. We headed home from Mira Mesa around 7:45 PM. I tried to keep him awake in the car by singing The Wheels on the Bus but he still went to sleep. Good thing he was able to sleep through the night. We were afraid he'll wake up after 2 hours and refused to sleep.

New Words

Ethan has been saying "no" = nose, "mou" = mouth, and bye lately. He knows "wa wa" = socks, "mian mian" = noodles, go, "poon" = spoon.

When he wants to watch Monster Inc., he'll say "Boo". When he wants to watch Car, he'll say "car". When he wants to watch Finding Nemo, he'll say "yu" = fish.
