Stomach Flu

I had a busy morning. Ethan woke up around 6 something and started to throw up. He threw up 6 times and had diarrhea. Eric called the nurse and she wouldn't schedule for an appointment unless there's symptom (it was New Year's Eve and there was only 1 doctor on duty).

Besides vomiting and diarrhea, Ethan was able to play. He was very tired. Every time when he fell asleep, he vomit and woke him up.

Nemo and Car

Recently, Ethan watches Finding Nemo and Car while in the car. He loves to watch them. He usually laughs after Coral gets eaten (strange kid). He tries to say "anemone" when Nemo tries to say it. It's pretty funny.

New Words

Since Ethan saw lots of trees and lights during the holidays, he knows how to say "tree, light". When he wants to see more lights, he says, "more". He loves noodles so he says, "mian mian".

Doctor's Visit

Doctor did a v-ultrasound again. This time baby was 25 mm. Baby was only 8 mm 4 weeks ago. We saw heart beats.

I was concerned about the baby. I was afraid the baby was not growing or something. Doctor told me to do blood tests again (a complete pregnancy blood tests). I will see doctor in another 4 weeks.

These pictures were taken at Grossmont Center on December 19. Both Alice and Ethan were afraid of Santa. Alice was concentrating on her candy cane so she totally forgot about Santa. Ethan on the other hand gave the candy cane back to Santa so he didn't have any distractions and he was scared :P

Size 6 Diaper

Ethan is wearing size 6 diaper now.

More Xmas Lights

We bought some toys at Toys R US for Ethan. After that we headed to Rolling Hills bcuz my friend Franklin said they had fake snow and some other stuffs for kids to play. It was so crowded in the parking area, so we had to park further away. The fake snow area was so small. They had some bouncers, but they were more suitable for bigger kids. We didn't stay long at all. We took the 125 toll road home (it only took like 5 min).

We ate instant noodle, egg, shrimps, and bbq beef ribs for lunch. After that we took a nap.

After that we took him to see lights in El Cajon. Then, we went to Parkway Plaza. We had gyro for dinner.

Xmas Lights

We took Ethan to see Xmas lights at this house in Tierrasanta ( computerized Christmas light display). It was really cool!

After that we took him to see lights around Clairemont Mesa. It was pretty chilly! brrrr!

Sea World

I woke Ethan up around 9:00 AM so he could go to class. Then, I called Kaichi and she was planning to go to Sea World with Yumi and Tiger. So, I took Ethan to Sea World to meet up with them. We bought lunch at hospitality deli.

After that Alice, Tiger, and Ethan played in the children area.

Then, they all changed diaper before watching pets show.

Pediatrician

We took Ethan to see his pediatrician to check on his gum. She said it doesn't look too bad and she prescribed a different type of antibiotic. While waiting for the doctor, we saw our friend Q and her daughter Rayne.

Left Message for Doctor

After taking the antibiotic, Ethan's poopoo was kinda orange red color. Eric was afraid may be Ethan bled internally so he left message for the doctor.

Doctor called back around 6 PM or 7 PM and said to schedule to see Ethan's pediatrician the next day.

First Molar

9th tooth, first molar on the top left.

Urgent Care

We took Ethan to urgent care and we waited for 2.5 hours! His gum is swollen and has some kind of pus on the left upper side.

Doctor said the tooth broke through but has infection. He also said he has ear infection on the left. Doctor prescribed antibiotic.

New Words

Tonight, I told Ethan to say, "ge-ge, mei-mei" and he copied! hehe So, he knows how to say "ge-ge = big brother, mei-mei = little sister". He has been saying, "what's this and what's that for awhile now". He can also said, "go, gou gou = doggy, mao = cat, wa = dig".

Cold

It's been over a week now and Ethan still has stuffy/running nose. He coughs too.

New Words

Ethan said "bu yao" when we tried to stop him from getting of the bed (we were trying to put him to sleep). We don't know if he knows what it means.

He says, "bao bao = hug hug, poo, yu = fish, boo, car".

Book

When daddy asked Ethan, "where is this and where is that in the book, he'll point to it". Clap clap clap!!! He knows apple, cat, dog, fish, moon.

Nervous

Dr. called me this morning and told me my hcg blood test on Friday was 2000 and on Monday was 6000. She wanted me to see her right away. On the way there, I was thinking, I thought hcg level going up is a good thing, why did she sound so concern? Is there something wrong with my baby?

Dr. took another v-ultrasound again and this time it's doubled (8 mm). Ethan and Eric both saw the small black spot :P So she said it looks good and wants me to see her in 4 weeks. She thought I had an eptopic pregnancy.

Playing with Bryce

We took Ethan to play with Bryce. Bryce and Rayne both had running nose (they have a cold). Since Ethan has been having mucus, after he got home, he started to have running nose too.

First Doctor's Appointment

I went to see Dr. on Friday, November 21. She did a v-ultrasound. You could only see a tiny black spot which measured 4 mm. Dr. wanted me to take blood test to check on my hcg level on that day and on Monday.

Poo Poo

Ethan told me he "poo poo" tonight. He even gave me a diaper for me to change him hehe

This morning, Ethan told me again that he poo poo hehe.

Fever

We ate dinner at my mom's. When we got home, Ethan felt a little bit warm. He had fever for about 2 days. However, he has mucus and it makes him want to throw up.

Clearblue

I took a pregnancy test yesterday with a home pregnancy test I bought from 99 Cents Store. It showed 1 dark pink line and 1 fainted pink line. I took a pregnancy test again with Clearblue this morning and it said "Pregnant". YEAH!!!

Korean BBQ Buffet

Tonight, we ate at a Korean bbq buffet restaurant with Jason, Kaichi, and Alice. We were there for 3 hours!!! It took so long cuz you have to wait for waiter/waitress to get you the food. We were surprised Ethan and Alice could stay there for that long :P This was the longest buffet we all ever had.

Appetite

Ethan doesn't have good appetite these days. I think because he's teething. I took him to Parkway Plaza and we had lunch at McDonald's. Surprisingly he ate 10 pieces of McNuggets!!! I ordered 20 pieces, he ate 10 and I ate 10 :P After he played in the play area for few minutes and then we picked up pictures at JC Penney.

McNuggets

Ethan hasn't been eating much lately. I cooked egg in the morning and he only took two bites. On the way to Sea World, he fell asleep. After he woke up, we took him to McDonald's. He ate 9 pieces! wow!!! After that we took him to Sea World.

Studio

We took Ethan to take pictures at JC Penney. We took few family photos and the rest was him in pirate costume. I can't wait to see the pictures! I only ordered 9 pictures. I am hoping they'll have 50% of CD deal again.

Trick or Treat

I took Ethan to pot luck at ALI. I brought papaya salad and fruit salad. Addie dressed as bunny, Alice dressed as Shark, and Ethan was a pirate. After lunch, we went upstairs to the party.

After that I took him home so he could nap. He napped from 2:30 - 4:30. We left home to 99 Cents Store to buy glow sticks around 5:15. Then, we headed to Kaichi and Jason's house. I brought kind of like a salad (it had slices of celery, carrots, cucumbers, and bean curd noodles) and fruit salad.

Eric and I carved our first pumpkin. After dinner, we went trick or treating. We only went around the block. David dressed as a pumpkin. Tiger was tired so he didn't go or else he'll be Tigger.

We were the last one who left Jason's house. Ethan climbed up and down the sofa and Alice copied hehe.

Night Terrors

Lately all of a sudden Ethan is waking up and hysterical several times a night. Sometimes he would just sit up and scream for no reason. We didn't know what's wrong with him. Sometimes he would want one of us to take him outside.

Daddy did some research and found out he must have night terrors, which are similar to sleepwalking but are more dramatic. Night terrors are often related to being sleep-deprived.

Sleeping Pattern

We are trying to change his sleeping pattern. He woke up at 7:30 today, napped at 11:30, and woke up at 12:30. We tried to keep him awake until 8. He bathed at 7 something and couldn't wait til 8. He fell asleep around 7:40.

He usually sleeps around 10 P.M. or 11 P.M. and wakes up around 9 A.M. or 10 A.M.

First Halloween Parade

We took Ethan to "Boo Parade" on Saturday, October 25. It supposed to start at 11 A.M. but I think they started around 12 P.M. Jason, Kaichi, Alice, Yumi, Tiger were there around 9:30. They parked in the Vons parking lot. We went there late and roads were blocked. We parked on 59th and had to walk about 3 blocks.

The parade felt forever. After parade, we ate at Burger Kings. Ethan got a white turtle for his kid's meal.

Ear

I have been teaching Ethan where is ear with Pooh stuffed animal. He knows where is nose already and now he knows where is ear too. Yeah!

He understands a lot of things. He just doesn't talk much. He understands "sit down, zhuan quan quan (go in a circle)". He will kiss you if you ask him too...either in Chinese or English.

8th Tooth

I saw and felt his 8th tooth today. It finally came out! When Ethan was younger, he didn't drool much when he was teething. However, recently he has been drooling a lot.

McDonald's

We didn't go to McDonald's for the past week. Today, after Ethan's doctor visit, we took him to McDonald's. He ate 6 pieces of McNuggets (we always take off the outside cuz it's hard). WOW! Daddy said, "did they give him a shot for the appetite?"

Peek A Boo

I taught him to cover his eyes with his hands doing peek a boo and he learned it right away. Now, when you say "peek a boo", he'll do it, and sometimes he'll say "boo!"

15 Month Check Up

Ethan had a doctor's appointment on Monday, October 13. He got 3 shots. He only cried for few seconds. Right after he was done with the shots, he looked at the nurse and thought, "What just happened? What did you do to me?"

Doctor said he's doing great. She played peek a boo with him and he smiled.

He weighed 25 lbs 12 oz (50-75%), height was 32" long (75%), and head length was 47.5 cm (50-75%).

Mommy

Ethan says "da da, daddy" all the time. He would say something close to mommy like "mum mum, ma". Today, I heard him said "mommy" finally, but just once.

Cold

I had a sore throat on Sunday, October 5. I had running / stuffy nose the next few days. I am almost recover but Ethan became sick on Tuesday night, October 7. He has running /stuffy nose now and coughs a little.

I just fed him Campbell's Souper Shapes (shaped pasta with chicken in chicken broth) "Disney Cars". He seemed to like it.

Pirate Costume

We had been looking for a pirate costume for Ethan. We went to 3 Babies R Us, Toys R Us, Party City, Sears Essential, and a Halloween Costume Store. Party City has $9.99 pirate costume but the fabric is so thin. It seemed like it'll fall apart any time.

Tonight, I went to Toys R Us and they didn't have any single pirate costumes. Then, I went to Babies R Us again, luckily, they have three 24 months pirate costumes. Many toddler costumes are very girly. So, we decided pirate is a good choice.

Sleeping

Tonight is the first time daddy sleeps in a different house than mommy and Ethan. Daddy is in Mira Mesa and mommy and Ethan are in Lemon Grove.

TTC

We are trying to conceive after my miscarriage. I thought I would be able to get pregnant since I used the ovulation kit. It showed two blue lines on September 23 which means I would be ovulating on September 25 or 26.

I tested myself on Friday, October 3, Sunday, October 5, and Tuesday October 7, all turned out to be negative.

I just got my period...so sad. We will try again in two weeks.

Sea World (Trick or Treat)

We took Ethan to Sea World on Saturday, October 4. We didn't know they are having Halloween Spooktacular event.


Ethan's First ride at Sea World. He was ok at the beginning until a little girl screamed. We think he got scared cuz she screamed. This ride made all of us dizzy.

McDonald's

Lately, we have been going to McDonald's a lot. Ethan gets 6 pieces McNuggets with fries and milk/chocolate milk/juice. He usually eats about 3-4 pieces of McNuggets. Tonight, he ate almost 5..wow!

Ball

Ethan said "ball". He doesn't talk a lot and you can't really get him to say something every time.

Ride

Ethan's first time on the ride. He wasn't too excited.

First Hair Cut By Daddy

Daddy cut Ethan's hair on Monday, September 29. He cut wayyyyyyyyyy too short! He blamed me for not holding Ethan's head tightly so he couldn't move.

Words

Ethan doesn't talk much. He knows Da Da, Daddy, dada, Ma, mum mum, bubble, ba ba, ne ne. He called "Pooh" Booh. He kinda knows how to say moon and no.

7th Tooth

The 4th one on the bottom finally came out.

Playhouse Cafe

Carol told me about Playhouse Cafe. They supposed to have "Free Silly Songs" today but the teacher didn't come. Kaichi, Alice, Carol, and Grace were there. We stayed there about 2 hours. Ethan fell asleep on the way home.

Screaming and Whining

Lately, Ethan has been screaming and whining. He screams when he doesn't get his way and sometimes just screams for no reason. At night, he'll be sleeping and suddently crying up a storm.

Shoes

We bought a pair of sandals from Children's Place, but Ethan doesn't like to wear socks or shoes. Since he's walking now, we have to make him wear shoes or else he can't walk when he's outside.

On Saturday, September 20, we went to Stride Rite at Plaza Bonita, but didn't find shoes there. Then, we went to Stride Rite at Las Americas Outlet.

Ethan has wide feet and our friend recommended Stride Rite. Daddy found a pair of white shoes with blue stripes for Ethan. Ethan is wearing Extra Wide Size 6 hehe.

Mi Mi Yan

Ethan still remembers how to squint his eyes when I say "mi mi yan". He also does this thing with his lips...so cute!

Walking

Ethan started to walk on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Nose

Ethan knows where nose is. I was surprised when he pointed to his nose so I asked him again, "where is nose" and he pointed to his nose again.

Photo Shoot

We went to Heritage Park in Irvine to take pictures. Pictures were taken by Lin. We went there at 9 am and left there around 10:45. After that we went to Sam Han BBQ Buffet in Rowland Heights for lunch. After lunch, we went to my aunty's house in Chino Hills. This was Ethan's 3rd time longest car ride.

6 Teeth

Ethan has 6 teeth now. 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom. The 3rd one on the top right just started to come out.

14 Steps

Ethan took 14 steps tonight. He could do more but he got lazy.

Ducky and Whale Soup

On Monday, August 18, when Ethan was taking a bath, he kept putting ducky in the cup with water and tried to drink it. Then, on Tuesday, August 19, he kept putting whale in the cup with water and tried to drink it. hehe

Ethan took 6 steps tonight.

Kid's Club

I took Ethan to Kid's Club near UTC. Kai-Chi, Alice, Weiping, and David were there too. After that we went to library to meet up with Yumi and Tiger. Then we had a picnic at a park near Weiping's house. Weiping was so thoughtful and kind to bring food to the park. Food was delicious!

I took Ethan home to nap. When we were driving toward Mission Bay, Ethan felt very warm. We were supposed to meet up with Kai-Chi at Crown Point and we did arrived at the parking lot, but we decided to head back home cuz Ethan had a fever. His fever last for two days.

Size 5 Diaper

Ethan is wearing size 5 diaper now!

Ethan's First Story Time

Today, we went to University Community Branch Library for Story Time with Kai-Chi, Alice, Weiping, David, Yumi, and Tiger. There were many kids. Ethan enjoyed the singing part, not too interested in story telling :P

After story time, we went to Italian restuarant. Food was great! Ethan was a pretty good boy, he sat in the high chair most of the time.

Afterwards, I called Carol and she told me she was at the Science Center at Balboa Park. While I drove there, Ethan fell asleep. It took me sooo long to find a parking spot (at least 30 minutes). Ethan loves to play and loves to see little kids.

Facing Forward

Daddy changed car seat to face forward on Sunday. Ethan got to sit facing forward for the first time on Monday, August 4. We think he likes it better cuz it's more roomy and he can see whoever is driving face to face.

Full Time Mom

I met up with my friend Carol and her daughter at Java Mama on Friday, August 1. We were there for 5 hours from 9 something to 2 something. Ethan was playing in the play area. He got hurt on his nose. I don't know if he hurt himself or another boy hurt him.

I ordered an Italian hot panini (Carol recommended it) and an iced caramel macchiato. Ethan ate some melted mozzarella, salami and honey-baked ham. He also had some peaches and Grace's crackers and cookies. Ethan slept about an hour on mommy's chests.

After that I took Ethan to ALI to pick up my check and visit people.

Whole Milk

Ethan started to drink whole milk on July 20th. We were at my aunty's house in Chino Hills and didn't bring formula so we gave Ethan some whole milk and he drank it without any problems (that's cuz he ate cheese, yogurt, ice cream before). We didn't have to mix formula with whole milk.

2nd Longest Car Ride

On Sunday, July 20, we had a GTG at Cheesecake Factory. This was my first GTG. We were surprised Ethan didn't sleep on the way there. It was about 1 1/2 hour car ride. He didn't sleep. He was watching Baby Einstein for the entire time.

After Cheesecake Factory, we went to my aunty's house in Chino Hills.

1 Year Well Check Up

He had his 1 year check up yesterday on July 14. His weight was 24 lbs and 2 oz (70%), height was 30 1/2" (75%), and head length was 47 cm (50-75%).

He got 2 shots on his right thigh and a TB skin test on his left arm. He didn't cry when he had his TB skin test, but he did cry when he had his 2 shots on his right thigh.

Birthday Party

Everyone who RSVP showed up on Saturday, July 12, except Sun (cuz she was sick). Only a few kids played on the jumper. I was sweating like a pig hehe.

I think the party turned out great, but it's very tiring though. We slept almost all day on Saturday :P .

Ethan got lots of toys and clothes. Of course he doesn't care for the clothes, he went straight to the toys.

Romalyn and Steven came late as usual :P and we were playing Rock Band together. I played guitar, Franklin played bass, Steven played drum, and Romalyn sang.

Happy First Birthday!

Ethan likes to mumbo jumbo. He kept saying something with "D". He says "da da". We didn't do anything yesterday. We'll have a birthday party for him tomorrow.

Oh yeah, and my friend's sister Linh gave birthday yesterday at 1:41 PM.

Bottom Tooth

Ethan had been putting his finger in his mouth cuz his gum was bothering him. We saw his bottom tooth (3rd one, left) broke out yesterday on July 10.

Get Off From the Bed

Ethan knows how to get off from the bed on July 8. His grandma taught him. He'll rush to the edge of the bed and then slow down, turn around and get off.

Allergic

I went to urgent care on Sunday, July 6 cuz I had been itching since June 26. I tried Cortaid cream, but it didn't help. I don't know what caused it. Doctor told me I have two options, 1. take a shot, 2. take medicine for few days.

I took a steroid shot and soon after little pink bumps on my arms disappeared.

4th of July

Carol invited us to celebrate 4th of July at her house. Daddy just put Ethan in the pool (inside of yellow bear life saver thing) and he was whining (cuz water was cold). This was Ethan's first time in the pool.

Sad News

So I did a blood test on Wednesday, June 25 and Friday, June 27 to find out my hcg level. Doctor called me around 12:30 to let me know my hcg level did go down, which means I had a miscarriage. Doctor told me wait for 2 months and then I can try again.

I scheduled myself to see a Chinese (herb) doctor on Saturday (my friend referred me). Doctor told me as for Chinese doctors, they suggest to wait 3 months. She gave me 4 days worth of herbs. It's pretty bitter (Yuck!). I will go back probably on Thursday to get more medicine.

It's sad to think about it, but I'm optimistic. I guess it could be worse. (for example, baby is not healthy) Now, all I need to do is to help my body recover and be ready for the next time.

Kiss Good Bye

Ethan knows how to kiss good bye on July 1. He'll put 1 finger or two fingers on his lips.

Blooding

I was shocked to see blood when I was about to shower on Monday, June 23. There were few clots. Then I didn't bleed after that. I called doctor's office on Tuesday morning to schedule for an appointment because I was concerned. Nurse told me to come in on Wednesday at 10:50. I didn't bleed the whole day on Tuesday until right before I got off. After that I bleed a little constantly.

Doctor did a v-ultrasound and said, it doesn't look good because she didn't see the sac. She said either she couldn't see it because it's too small or it's no longer there =( . She told me to do blood test to check on my hcg level.

I went to the lab at Centre for Healthcare to withdraw blood. I will have to go again on Friday morning, June 27 and Thursday, July 3. If hcg level goes down, it means I am no longer pregnant =( . Doctor wants to see me back in 2 weeks, July 8.

I'm hoping my baby is still there.

Biker Boy

I got the pictures back on June 22. It was so hot over the weekend. Ethan was cranky on Saturday and Sunday.

Father's Day

We had lunch at Onami with the family on Saturday, June 14. That morning, Ethan ate some egg and a sliced of cheese. He ate some fruits and squash at Onami. Oh yeah, he finished all of his free Enfamil Formula (I got free samples from doctor's office and Enfamil also sent me 4 free cans), so we went to Target to buy Enfamil Next Step Lipil formula.

We went to McDonald's for dinner. We got two Happy Meal, so that we could get two toys from Kung Fu Panda. So far, we have the panda, the master, and the tiger. Ethan ate 2 sliced of cheese, a little bit of fries and apple.

That night, we made him 6 oz of formula like usual (usually with water and formula, it'll be like 7 oz). He was trying to sleep, but he couldn't sleep. So daddy made him another 2 oz. After he finished 2 oz, he was whining, he wanted more. So daddy made him another 2 oz (that's 10 oz total). Wow! what a pig hehe. Daddy said he must be going through a growth spurt.

Road Rebels

I took a day off to take Ethan to JC Penny. We took a total of 15 shots. He didn't want to sit on the motorcycle. He was holding on to the handles and standing up. I was tired holding him at JC Penny. Our appointment was at 10:30 and we left there around 11:45.

I drove to La Jolla to eat lunch with daddy. We went to Mr. Taco. Ethan had a little bit of quesadilla, Goldfish, and cheerios. Ethan didn't want to eat. He drank milk at 6 and woke up around 8:30. He ate at least 1/2 an egg at 9:00 and a slice of cheese.

After lunch, we went to daddy's office and then mommy took Ethan to mommy's office. We arrived around 2:00 and stayed til 4:00. Ethan saw many people. He was hysterical. He was playing with Paula and just kept laughing and laughing for some reason. He laughed so hard and long.

Ethan only napped in the car two times all day. When we got home, Ethan was sleeping on the bed and I went to the kitchen to make him formula. Suddently, I heard he was crying (because he fell off the bed for the very 1st time). After he finished his milk, he didn't want to go back to sleep.

Ethan is Going to be a Big Brother

I bought a cheap 99 cents home pregnancy test on June 9 at the 99 Cents Store and I saw one dark pink line and a light one.

Next morning on June 10, I used Clearblue which we bought in 2006. (there were 2 sticks in the box, I used 1 to find out I was pregnant with Ethan, and now I used the 2nd one to find out I'm pregnant with the 2nd baby) ^__^

Play Date at Alice's House

San Diego Zoo (Play Date With Alice)

Today was Ethan's first play date with Alice and also first time at the zoo. They met each other for the very first time. Daddy just bought Zoo Membership while we were there. He was being a pretty good boy today. He and Alice touched each other's hands and mumbo jumbo on something. When one clapped hands, the other would follow...so cute!

First Trip to Sea World

On Saturday, May 3, we took Ethan to Sea World for the very first time! He smiled when he saw South American penguin swimming. He was looking around and wasn't cranky. By the time we got to dolphin petting area, he was sleeping already.

Fourth Well Check Up (9 Months)

He had his 9 months check up yesterday on April 24. His weight was 22 lbs and 8 oz (75%), height was 29" (75%), and head length was 46 cm (70%). He didn't get any shots yesterday, but a little prick on his big toe to test his iron level. He didn't cry ^_^

First French Fries

We gave Ethan some McDonald french fries on April 12. Mommy got sick on Sunday April 13. Now, both mommy and baby are sick =(

Another Way of Saying Good Bye

On April 2, Ethan knows how to move his arm up and down when saying good bye. He started to say na na na na. He loves to stand up.

Crawling Forward

He can finally crawl forward. He has been moving backward and side ways. What motivated him to move forward was daddy's dinner "pot stickers"! Daddy put his dinner on the floor and Ethan tried to get it!

First Time Sleeping Through the Night

We started to train him not to drink at night when he's sleeping since March 27 or March 28. He struggled for a few nights. He tossed and turned for hours. He is still struggling, but he is doing much better now.

Saying Good Bye

On March 26, he knows how to open and close his hands when saying good bye.

Sitting Up

He can sit up by himself since March 17. He knows how to ah ah ah when you put your fingers over his mouth. He is starting to mumbo jumbo...so cute!

Squinting Eyes

He does this cute face by squinting his eyes since March 15.

First Longest Car Ride

He had his longest car ride on March 8. We went with my mom, my brother, sister-in-law, and Eric. Daddy bought a portable dvd player and installed in the car for Ethan to watch. Ethan only watched a little bit. We visited my Aunty Ling in Chino Hills. They bought a new house and it costs nearly a million dollar!

Moving Around

He doesn't know how to crawl yet, but he can move backward and side ways when he's on his tummy. When he wants you to hold him, he'll reach out his arms.

Fever

Ethan had a fever on February 28. Mommy and daddy stayed home with him on February 29. His temperature stayed around 102 on Friday, February 29, and went up to 103.4 on Saturday, March 1.

Two Lower Teeth

On February 20, Ethan's teeth are finally coming out.

Grandma's Birthday

We went out for my mom's birthday at a restaurant. Most of their dishes are spicy.

"Yum! Can I have some?!" Ethan focused on the cake.

Happy Chinese New Year

He can sit pretty good now. He is pushing himself forward. When he's sitting down on someone's laps, it's like he is riding a horse. Daddy and mommy bought Ethan new clothes at Target and Babies R US for Chinese New Year.

Mommy and Daddy took Thursday and Friday off.

Size 4 Diaper

Around January 27, he started to wear size 4 diaper.

Third Well Check Up (6 months)

Ethan had his 6 months well check up on January 24. He weighed 20 lbs 4 oz (90-95%), 26.75 inches long (50-75%), 44.75 cm (head, 75-90%). He got a fever on Friday and Saturday..highest was about 102.

6 Months Old

Ethan is 6 months old today! He started to know how to play ah ah ah (when he is making sound and you put your hand over his mouth). He can still wear size 3 diaper, but we think he'll be more comfortable with size 4 diaper.

First Roll Over

Ethan finally rolled over on Jan. 2.

Funky Lips

Ethan is doing something with his lips and tongue....so cute!
